Raw material introduction
The fisetin supplement is an organic compound naturally existing in Rhus succedanea L.
Physical property
The fisetin supplement is yellow acicular crystal (thin ethanol) with a melting point of 3300C (decomposition). Soluble in ethanol, acetone and acetic acid.In water, ether, benzene, chloroform, and petroleum ether, it is almost insoluble. Bright yellow fine needle crystal with a melting point greater than 3000C, 3480C.
Pharmacological action
1. Inhibition of prostaglandins: It can inhibit the production of prostate cord in 3T3 mouse fibroblasts transformed by methylcholanthrene, and the half effective inhibitory concentration (ID50) is 42.0UM.
2.It has the ability to inhibit the rat lens' total sugar reductase; the half-effective inhibitory concentration is 10-6M.
3. Spasmolysis: For the small intestine specimen of mice, its antispasmodic effect against acetylcholine is 166% of that of papaverine.
4. A group of researchers from Japan and the United States found that rhubarb in vegetables and fruits can help improve memory through animal experiments.
Efficacy and function
Due to the special structure of the blood-brain barrier in the brain, many potential components cannot pass through it and enter the brain. Therefore, small molecules that have multiple biological activities at the same time and can pass through the blood-brain barrier become extremely valuable, and the fisetin supplement (olein, Fisetin) is one of the potential components.
1. It not only has direct antioxidant activity, but also can improve the level of glutathione, the main antioxidant in cells. In the presence of oxidative stress, fisetin supplements can also maintain mitochondrial function and protect nerve cells from death caused by oxidative stress.
2. Like other organs, brain function will also age with age. The fisetin supplement can block the signal, activate the autophagy of aging "zombie" cells, and help the body eliminate these aging cells.
