White Willow Bark Salicylin Extract

Dose used

Salicin can be utilized as a successful standard extract of white willow bark. In general, the suggested daily amount of salicin is 60-120mg. Recent research suggests that greater doses, such as 240 mg per day, may be more effective in relieving pain.

1. Anti-aging

Salicin extract from Salix saliciformis not only influences gene regulation in the skin, but it also influences gene groups associated with the biological process of skin aging. 1. Salicin should be used in a neutral environment. In an acidic environment, salicylin is degraded into salicylic alcohol and oligosaccharide, and salicylic alcohol is further oxidized into salicylic acid.

2. It is not permitted for individuals who are sensitive to salicylic acid.
