Cassia obtusifolia is also known as Caoping Cassia obtusifolia, Yangming, Sheep Horn, Cassia obtusifolia, Huan Tong Zi, Shishi Dou, Fake Mung Bean, Horseshoe, Senecio, Celery Jue, Sheep Horn Bean, Wild Green Bean, Pig Bone Ming, Shishi Blue Bean, Fine leaf Shishi Bean, Yelazi, Sheep Tail Bean, etc. It is the mature seed of the leguminous plant Cassiaobtusifoli Chemical booka L. or Cassiatora L. Chemical composition
It contains chrysophanol, emodin, aloe emodin, rhein, emodin, emodin glucoside, chrysophanol anthrone, physcin, obtusin, aurantio obtusin, and rose pigment (rubrofusarin) Cassia pine (torachryson), cassia lactone (toralactone).
